Your weekly roundup from Galactic Hosting. This week we shipped multiple V2 fixes, improved performance, and added quality-of-life features. Full notes below.

Improvements & fixes 🔧

V2.1.1

  • Fixed issues with server creation (multiple edge cases)
  • Fixed signup flow where certain IDs were not stored correctly
  • Added option to change Docker image in server settings (experimental)
  • Reduced panel animations to help lower‑end devices

V2.1.2

  • Fixed console not working on some nodes
  • Fixed smaller panel issues

V2.1.3

  • Fixed server creation screen not showing for some users (still affected? please open a ticket)
  • Fixed a few visual bugs
  • Added console auto‑save (early WIP; occasional misses expected)

V2.1.4

  • Added basic mobile support (long‑press on mobile instead of right‑click)

Security & downtime report

Week 1 of Version 2 came with a few expected challenges. During the first hours after launch, we saw intermittent downtime as many users migrated to the new client. Once the initial surge settled, services stabilized and remained fully operational until 25/09/25, when an upstream VPS provider issue caused a ~30‑minute outage.

We restored services quickly and added extra monitoring to shorten response times for similar incidents.

We’re focusing on usability and performance next week:

  • Performance upgrades to keep the panel fast and reliable

Our support team is working through a higher‑than‑usual ticket volume. Some tickets may wait a little longer than normal thank you for your patience. We’re preparing a new dashboard ticket system to reduce wait times.
